Cycling is forever firmly linked with France, and not only because of the fantastic Tour de France. Mention the country’s name and many people immediately conjure up the image of an elderly fat man in a stripy teeshirt and a beret pedalling serenely along a country lane with a baguette under one arm and a [...] [...] The three trigger-happy members of the Dagg household headed off for a session at the shooting club this morning, so I got on my bike armed with a banana to keep me going and my camera – as ever. I wanted to go and see what was going on at eolienne (wind turbine) 3. (There [...] [...] There was a meeting at Ruadhri’s school Tuesday night so that we parents could get a look at the new teacher and hear what she plans to do to/with our kids this year. I’ve already had a minor skirmish with her over pochettes plastiques in the form of notes to each other in Ruadhri’s cahier [...] [...] |
