What a shame. Pity you’re not here. Our slope is dead icy and lethal!
No school buses again tomorrow so Caits and Rors get an extra day off. They’re happy, I’m not!

Thanks for the offer Pat. At the mo, we’re coping, but we’ll see how we go. And don’t worry about my going through the ice to an icy grave, it would do wonders for my book sales!

We finally got snow =D Went sledging today for the first time in south park, but it quickly turned into a sludgy muddy mess, so gave up =P xx

Take care Steph!! I don’t know which is worse the thought of you on the frozen lake or on the tractor seat!! If you need any additional heating you can use our 3 heaters at the house. There’s a small radiator and 2 fan heaters – not sure where but please search if you need them. Keep warm. We have 2 inches of snow here and it took us 3 hours to get back from Oxford last night but it’s thawing at the moment.

Our cold is a bit OTT, it has to be said. I admire your resolve with all the indoor pedalling. I’m happy to curl up by the fire in between forays outside to do farm jobs!

Thanks for making me feel better about our ‘cold’ (somewhere are zero for highs right now) spell in Le Sud. We also have no water for washing, but everything else is working still. It’s times like these that I realize the practical qualities of indoor trainers…

Poor you! We are looking out at a street full of snow, in London, and hoping we can get to the gallery and unload the pics. This cold snowy weather is everywhere.
