We’ve had a baby explosion at Les Fragnes. Two litters of guinea pigs and one rabbits have been born in the last two days. And this morning Victoria the llama arrived. She is so named because today is Victory in Europe Day. We were about to set off to the ceremony in Nouzerines when we [...] The threat of nakedness is hanging over the animals at Les Fragnes. Why? Because I learnt to spin a week ago. Now I eye up every creature I see with a view to what sort of yarn I could spin from its fur/wool/hair. Everyone knows that llama and alpaca wool is wonderful for spinning. But [...] I’m going to be gardening by the moon this year. I have my trusty handbook by my side – ‘Mieux Jardiner avec la Lune’ – and I’m ready to get started. But will it really make any difference? |
